Cydney a mental health professional serving adolescent and adult individuals in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her experience includes working with professionals, high school and college students in both the individual and group therapy context. Cydney is passionate about helping people who are experiencing complex trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational issues, identity development, and major life transitions.

As a clinician, Cydney utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches such as attachment work, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. However, Cydney tailors her approach based on the specific goals and strengths of the client. Rather than serving as someone with all of the answers, Cydney serves as a guide who values and deeply respects her clients and the wisdom they already have. 

Cydney graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Child and Family Studies. During her time there, she also served as a volunteer Young Life leader at a local high school. Cydney then graduated from Richmont Graduate University with a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Trauma Counseling. Cydney is a licensed professional counselor- mental health service provider (LPC-MHSP) in the State of Tennessee.

Cydney grew up in Knoxville, TN before investing three years living in Chattanooga, TN while she earned her Master's Degree. She is excited to be back in Knoxville, where you can often find her trying a new restaurant with her husband or taking their dog on a walk.
