Open Position
Mental Health Therapist
(Applications to be considered no sooner than May 2025)
Job Description
We have some limited openings to consider additional providers to join our group as Mental Health Therapists to provide counseling/psychotherapy services in the near future. Both full-time applicants (20+ client sessions a week) and part-time applicants can be considered, though only fully licensed clinicians will be considered for any part-time position.
Requirements:

Minimum of a master’s degree in a behavioral health field (counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, psychology, etc.) with eligibility for licensure in independent clinical practice in Tennessee (LPC-MHSP, LMFT, LCSW, and/or licensed Psychologist). If not fully licensed, the therapist must be in active supervision working towards independent licensure once employed as either a LPC-MHSP and/or LMFT licensure. Clinic has established therapists available to consider new supervisees for both Tennessee LPC-MHSP and/or LMFT licensure.

Willingness to engage with, and be led by, the directors of the practice and other members of the clinic’s leadership team.

Eagerness to engage and collaborate with other members of the counseling/psychotherapeutic staff of the clinic.

Ability to adjust work schedule as required.

Must be willing to work some evening hours.

Ability to successfully work with a high degree of independence/autonomy.

Commitment and competency to provide faith-sensitive treatment to clients and commitment to fulfilling the mission objectives of the clinic (see mission statement here).
Preferences:

Prior experience in a counseling/psychotherapy office/clinic environment preferred.

Prior experience with electronic health records preferred.

Clinicians with specialized interest/training in any of the following areas are preferred
-
Sexual dysfunctions/addictions.
-
Substance abuse
-
Trauma work (specifically with EMDR training)

Child therapy
-
Disordered eating
-
Couples/family therapy

Pay and Support:
-
Therapist shall be a W-2 employee of the clinic. The clinic shall provide office space, office furnishings, billing services, access to an electronic health record (EHR) for charting of client encounters, as well as logistical and financial support in marketing therapist’s services and building caseload.

Clinic offers generous pay disbursements to therapists based on collected client fees, with increased disbursement percentages based on caseloads, licensure, and employment time with clinic. Historically, full-time clinicians with practice will earn between $55,000 to over $95,000 per year (subject to licensure and caseload size).

Full-time therapist/counselors with the clinic are expected to engage in minimum of 20 to 25 sessions per week when at full capacity.
